I thoroughly enjoyed the place, everything was nice. I was offered a room with incredible views over the ocean. The location seemed peaceful and lovely in the forest. It was also really close to Stewart Island, walking distance, gardens and the hill above Halfmoon Bay. This was my fun stay for my lovely holiday.

I stayed at Ponga B&B for a few nights and it was a delightful experience. The host, Jimmy, was incredibly accommodating and picked us up and dropped us off. The food options were great, with a variety of choices for breakfast including gluten-free options. The view from the hotel was stunning and the bed was comfortable. I also enjoyed the cozy lounge area for relaxing. Jimmy was a friendly and knowledgeable host who provided great recommendations for local activities. a wonderful stay!

Jimmy, the host, provided exceptional service and went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable. He gave us local tips and even offered to store our bags while we went hiking. The location of the B&B offers panoramic views from the terrace, and the place was kept immaculately clean. We thoroughly enjoyed our experience and would definitely stay again.

The location exceptionally nice and fantastic willing to take us up-and-down the hill to town centre. And so close to the real Stewart Island and Halfmoon Bay. Comfortable beds and neat rooms. Incredible views over the ocean and a great design.

had an amazing time at a bnb in half-moon bay. exceeded expectations on my birthday. top-notch host, delicious breakfast, and even went kiwi hunting at night. highly recommend staying here if you want a fantastic experience.

Missed having a private space.

Ponga B&B offers accommodation with free WiFi, a shared lounge, and a shared kitchen. Great, now I can upload my posh selfies without leaving my room! How convenient.

Sharing a kitchen? Oh, how I love bumping into strangers while making tea in my PJs.

I stayed at a lovely B&B perched on a hill above the bay. The host, Jimmy, went above and beyond with his exceptional service. He provided transportation wherever we wanted to go and made us feel at home. The "limousine" service was a unique touch. Jimmy's knowledge of the area added to the experience, and the breakfasts were delicious. The deck had a great vibe, and the opportunity to feed kakas made it even more special. it felt like staying with a favorite uncle.

It was like having my own personal cooking space, complete with all the amenities I needed. I felt like a master chef whipping up delicious meals!

Steep road to Stewart Island.

clean - beautiful location - close to town centre with Jimmy willing to give us a lift up the hill. Jimmy - the host - is genuine and hospitable - going above and beyond for his guests. Breakfast is delicious and cooked by Jimmy himself.
